How to embed on your site

Two lines of HTML. The wheel and the live list come with them.

What you paste

On your likeness page, open Embed this likeness on your site and click Copy. Then follow the builder steps below. Do not retype it.

If you landed here from that button, your code is already filled in. Otherwise the pattern is firstlast — lowercase, no spaces, same as the page name on lyknss.bio.

The div is the hole the hub drops into. The script draws the wheel and keeps it in sync with lyknss.bio. One script per page is enough if you have several hubs; each hub needs its own div with a different data-person.

Most builders will strip a <script> if you drop it in a normal text block. Put the div in the page body. Put the script in Header / Footer / Custom code whenever the builder offers that. Details below.

WordPress (self-hosted)

The software you install on your own host. Administrators can usually save raw HTML.

  1. Edit the page. Add a Custom HTML block (not a paragraph).
  2. Paste both lines.
  3. Update. If the wheel is missing, the block stripped the script. Leave only the div in the block. Put the script once under Appearance → Theme File Editor → footer.php, or a “Insert Headers and Footers” plugin, just before </body>.

Authors and contributors cannot save <script>. On WordPress Multisite, only a Super Admin can. A security plugin can strip it even for admins.

WordPress.com

The hosted version of WordPress — the one that powers the most websites overall. Flexible, huge range of themes and plugins.

  1. Free plans strip <script> and <iframe>. You need a paid plan with hosting features on (installing any plugin turns that on).
  2. Add a Custom HTML block and paste the two lines.
  3. If the script still vanishes, put the div in the block and the script under Appearance → Customize additional JS, or a header/footer plugin.

Wix

The largest drag-and-drop builder. Easy for beginners; templates plus booking, shop and blog.

  1. Open the page in the editor. Add Embed Code (the “wide” embed / HTML iframe widget).
  2. Paste both lines. Set the embed height tall enough for the wheel (about 700–900px) and turn off a tiny default box.
  3. If Wix wraps the code in a sandboxed iframe and the wheel is blank, put the script under Settings → Custom Code → Body — end and keep only the div in the embed widget.

Squarespace

Polished, design-led templates. A favourite with creatives, hospitality and portfolio sites.

  1. Edit the page. Add a Code block (not a text block).
  2. Paste both lines. Display source: HTML.
  3. Business plans and above allow Code blocks. On a Personal plan, use Settings → Developer Tools → Code Injection → Footer for the script, and a Code block for the div only.

Shopify

Built around selling, with a website attached.

  1. Online Store → Pages → the page. Switch the editor to Show HTML and paste the div.
  2. Online Store → Themes → Edit code → theme.liquid. Paste the script just before </body>.
  3. Or add a Custom Liquid section on the template and paste both lines there.

GoDaddy Website Builder

Very quick setup, bundled with domains and email. Aimed at small businesses.

  1. Add a section → HTML / embed.
  2. Paste both lines. Preview on the live site, not only the editor canvas — the editor often hides scripts.
  3. If it stays blank, Website → Settings → Header/Footer tracking code for the script, HTML section for the div.

Webflow

Design control close to hand-coding, without writing code. Popular with designers and agencies.

  1. Add an Embed element. Paste both lines.
  2. Publish (Webflow Embed does not run in the Designer canvas).
  3. Site settings → Custom Code → Footer is the fallback for the script.

Hostinger Website Builder

Cheap, with AI-assisted building. Good value for simple sites.

  1. Add an Embed / Custom code element.
  2. Paste both lines. Publish and view the live URL.
  3. Website Settings → Integrations / custom code for the script if the element strips it.

Google Sites and Squarespace Domains

Google Sites is free and very basic — fine for internal pages. Squarespace absorbed Google Domains customers; those sites are ordinary Squarespace sites (use the Squarespace steps).

  1. Google Sites: Insert → Embed → Embed code. Paste both lines.
  2. Sites often sandboxes the embed. If the wheel does not load, Google Sites cannot run a third-party script — link to the lyknss page instead.

Framer

Fast-growing and modern, with strong animation and AI page generation. Popular for startups and landing pages.

  1. Insert an Embed component. Paste both lines.
  2. Publish. The canvas preview may stay empty until the site is live.
  3. Site Settings → General → Custom Code → End of <body> for the script if needed.

Weebly, Jimdo, Duda

Weebly is part of Square and good for small shops. Jimdo is strong in Europe. Duda is used by agencies building sites for clients.

  1. Weebly: Embed Code element. Paste both lines. Pro plan required for custom HTML.
  2. Jimdo: Add a Widget / HTML element. Creator plan for custom code. Script can also go in Settings → Head HTML.
  3. Duda: Add a Custom HTML widget, or Site Header/Footer HTML for the script. Agency accounts can lock this into a client widget.
